Trzy Mlyny - Pologne - Puck County
Trzy Mlyny refuge is in Pomeranian voivodeship, on the area of Krokow commune. It encompasses the area of 7.7 square km, and it is the Site of Community Importance. The refuge comprises the middle valley and source area of Czarna Woda river. Czarna Woda (Wda) river flows out on Chrzanowska Plain nearby Bytow city. It is typical lowland river with characteristic picturesque meanders and steep coasts overgrown by forests. There are 5 different habitats occurring on the area of Trzy Mlyny from Appendix I Habitats Directive. Dominating habitat is created by acidophilus beeches.  
Turopolje - Croatie - Sisak
This lowland area is situated between rivers Odra and Sava. The most valuable parts of the area are extensive wet meadows, important for nesting of Corncrakes. Pedunculate oak forest is developed on the right bank of the river Odra. Other habitats are mosaic landscapes and willow and poplar forests along the Sava River.
Twierdza Wisloujscie - Pologne - Gdańsk
Twierdza Wisloujscie is a refuge located in Pomeranian voivodeship. It covers area of only 0.5 km². The area has been placed in a list of Sites of Community Importance Natura 2000 because of habitats of bats which can be found here. The refuge is one of the biggest wintering places for bats. Number of bat population within the fortress has increased after people stopped using it. Individuals of the following species regularly winter here: pond bat, and greater mouse-eared bat.

 Situated in the alpine region of the Tyrolean Stubaier Alpen, Gossenköllesee is a typical high-mountain lake at an altitude of about 2,400 meters above sea level. The lake surface is 1,6 hectares. The whole biosphere reserve covers not more than the lake and its small catchment area. The lake supports algae vegetation. Situated north of Norwich at the Norfolk coast, this biosphere reserve includes a wide range of habitats, from intertidal sands and muds, through shingle ridges, to saltwater and freshwater marshes.
