Bolle di Magadino - Suisse - Gordola
Switzerland signed the Ramsar Convention in 1976 and to date 8 wetlands have been designated as Wetlands of International Importance with special regard to water birds. The Bolle di Magadino were recorded in this list in 1982, since then it belongs to the sites included in the Ramsar Convention. In Switzerland there are no more exist delta ecosystems in their natural state. The Bolle di Magadino, located South of the Alps, are a rare example of a delta where natural environments are at least partially perserved.
Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park - Géorgie - Bakuriani
The Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is located in central Georgia and is part of the lesser Caucasus. The park is one of the largest in Europe - it covers more than 85,000 hectares of native forest and sub-alpine and alpine meadows, home to rare species of flora and fauna. A network of trails invites you to experience the stunning variety of blossoming plants, breathtaking views and a magical atmosphere. Situated 60 km south of the town of Sidi Bouzid, Bouhedma National Park represents an ecosystem unique in Tunisia. The vegetation of the park is woodland in which Acacia raddiana occurs in association with Periploca laevigata and Rhus tripartitum. The main peak within the park, Djebel Bouhedma, which reaches 840 m, supports a vegetation dominated by Olea europaea, Juniperus phoenicea and Pistacia atlantica. On the surrounding plains Arthrophytum scoparium and A. schmittiamum are conspicuous elements. Bouhedma National Park is in the Unesco Network as a Biosphere reserve.

The Brijuni Islands National Park is only 6km from Pula, on the Istrian coast. There are two main islands and 12 islets but only the largest island, Veli Brijun can be visited (unless you have your own boat) and you must come either with an excursion or with a hotel booking. The main curiosity of Veli Brijun is the peculiar collection of animal life. Former Yugoslav leader, Marshal Tito had his summer residence there and liked exotic animals. Ghosts in the Ramsenhütte? It has been reported that the main door of the hut opens at night despite having been closed several times. On the floor of the house a bluish rectangle appears several times. Back in the 18. century a herder died in the flames at the place the current Ramsenhütte has been built. Calugareasca Forest is located in the middle of the Boianu Bent and represents a relict of the former woods. Until it was declared protected natural area, in its woods  was allowed pasturage, fact that endangered the specie „romanian rose”. Chêne gigantesque Sherwood - Royaume-Uni - Nottinghamshire
The Major Oak is a huge oak tree near the village of Edwinstowe in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, England. According to local folklore, it was Robin Hood's shelter where he and his merry men slept. It weighs an estimated 23 tons, has a girth of 33 feet (10 metres), and is about 800–1000 years old.
