The Valley of the Parseta River is especially precious for the multitude of habitats and species of plants and animals that can be found here. Der Europäische Fernwanderweg E1 ist Teil der Europäische Fernwanderwege und verläuft zur Zeit noch von Mittelschweden bis nach Umbrien in Italien. Der Europäische Fernwanderweg E7 ist einer von zwei Fernwanderwegen der Europäischen Wandervereinigung, die nicht durch Deutschland führen. In Planung ist eine Streckenführung von Portugal bis nach Rumänien und weiter bis in die Ukraine.
